Favorite part of coaching: My favorite part would probably be seeing players grow over the season — not just as athletes, but as teammates, leaders and young men. Molding young kids into being responsible mature young men through accountability, high expectations and self-discipline. Watching a kid who struggled early in the season finally understand the concepts, make big plays, and gain confidence is rewarding. And on game day, there’s nothing like seeing preparation pay off.

Favorite Football memory: Playing in Memorial Stadium for the Bison on a Friday night in front of a packed house. I grew up blocks from Memorial and would watch the games from outside the iron fence or from the east side stands after sneaking in as a young kid. The stands were always packed, the stadium lights lit up the neighborhood, and the announcer could be heard from miles away. High School football in the 90’s was hard to beat. I hope we can bring it back and Make HS Football Great Again!!!
