2a. Camp Registration

When a parent or guardian registers an athlete for a camp, we collect:

Athlete’s first and last name
Parent or guardian name
Email address
Phone number
Athlete’s date of birth and incoming grade
Primary position preference
T-shirt size
Medical and dietary notes (allergies, medications, or other health information you voluntarily provide)
Camp session selection and payment information

2b. Donations

When you make a donation, we collect:

First and last name
Email address
Gift dedication (if provided)
Payment information (processed securely by Wix Payments — we do not store card numbers)
Whether the gift is recurring or anonymous

2c. Contact Form

When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect:

First and last name
Email address
Your message and selected topic

2d. Automatically Collected Information

Great Falls High Bison Football serves student-athletes, which may include children under the age of 13. We take the privacy of minors very seriously and comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Parental Consent Required

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent. All camp registration forms require a parent or guardian to complete the registration on behalf of the athlete. By submitting a registration form, the parent or guardian confirms they are providing consent for the collection and use of their child’s information as described in this policy.

If You Believe a Child Has Submitted Information Without Consent

If you believe your child under the age of 13 has submitted personal information to this website without your consent, please contact us immediately at tchida@gfps.k12.mt.us. We will promptly delete the information from our records.

Information Collected About Minors

Information collected during camp registration for athletes under 13 is used exclusively to:

Process their registration and payment
Communicate with their parent or guardian about the camp
Ensure their safety during participation (medical and dietary information)

We do not share, sell, or disclose personal information about minors to any third party except as required to operate the camp (e.g., payment processing) or as required by law.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party platforms to operate this website. Each has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:

Wix (Website Platform & Payments)

This website is built on Wix. Wix hosts the site, collects analytics, and processes payments through Wix Payments. Wix Payments is PCI DSS compliant — your full card number is never stored on our servers or accessible to us.

Our Links page and schedule page include links to third-party platforms such as Hudl, MaxPreps, BSN Sports, and GoFan. These sites are independently operated and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or data practices of any external website.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

With service providers (Wix, VerticalRaise, Google) solely to operate the website and programs described herein
With coaching staff and program administrators who need it to manage camp operations or respond to your inquiry
If required by law, court order, or governmental authority
To protect the safety of an athlete or address an emergency situation

We will never share your personal information with sponsors, advertisers, or unaffiliated organizations.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide to us. Payment data is handled exclusively through PCI-compliant processors (Wix Payments). Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

Camp registration and payment records are retained for a minimum of three (3) years for administrative and financial record-keeping purposes.
Medical and dietary information provided for camp participation is retained only for the duration of the camp session and deleted or destroyed promptly afterward.
Donation records are retained as required for financial and tax reporting purposes.
Contact form messages are retained for up to one (1) year or until the inquiry is resolved, whichever is sooner.
Website analytics data is retained per Wix’s standard data retention schedule.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see Section 10: Your Rights).
